This is an antique dome top carriage chest. An English, iron-bound pine travelling trunk dating to the Victorian period of the late 19th century, circa 1880.
Attractive and practical carriage chest
Displays a desirable aged patina
Select pine with fine grain interest and honey hues
Iron bound hardware in good order, commensurate with age
Stout domed top with sturdy bound stretcher and shoulder
Front dressed with long, hinged clasp
