Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Armchair

I believe this antique armchair would be a perfect candidate for a desk chair, because the arms are set back a bit from the seat front. This chair is solid mahogany, with exquisite satinwood & other inlays inside the back & on the arms. It’s Edwardian, dating from the 1890-1910 period & is in excellent condition, having just been polished & re-upholstered. It’s also very comfortable due to the curved shape & upholstery. The general construction is very good too, so it’s very stable. I particularly like the shaped cross stretchers that join all the legs & provide extra stability.
