Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Bureau c1900
Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bureau and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded and inlaid edge to the polished top and fall front which opens to reveal three small drawers with brass handles and fine stringing and with polished shelf above. There is a pen tray with original glass inkwells and it has its original leather skiver. Below this there are three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with cross banded and inlaid edges with original swan neck brass handles. It stands on long tapering legs on castors.
Measures 37" high x knee height 26" x 18" deep x 30" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
