Antique English Figural Table Vesta - Mouse
A really charming little table vesta made from English cast and polished brass. The naturalistic box is topped by a very sweet Mouse on top.
The hinged lid opens to reveal a chamber where non-saftely matches would have been stored and struck on the strike seen on the front of the box.
Victorian in era, the box dates to around 1880 and remains in excellent undamaged condition. 2" x 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" tall to top of Mouse.
