A charming little match holder, cast in brass in the from of a little dog with a large hat and walking cane. The hat would have contained non-safety matches and would have been struck on the side of the hat with it's textured surface (matches cannot be shipped with the strike).

The dog retains his original glass eyes.

Superb condition, measuring 2 1/4" tall.
