This is the best example that I recently purchased from a private collection, the largest and the earliest dating to c.1890, late Victorian. It has been a long time since I have had one of these this size standing 13 1/4" tall with a footprint measuring 10" x 3 1/2" an impressive example.

The four knobs to each side are used to move forward and rewind the day, date and month behind the three glazed apertures. All in full working order.

Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age.
