A late Victorian Strawberry set, the two shell shaped dishes would be piled high with summer Strawberries and served with caster sugar in the bowl and fresh cream in the jug or creamer.

When English Strawberries are out of season, I use these to serve cakes, biscuits, cookies and chocolates with the milk or cream in the jug and sugar for the tea or coffee, a really usable and stunning table top serving piece for any occasion.

The underside is where the maker's mark can be found for the top notch silversmith, Walker and Hall of Sheffield.

Excellent condition, measuring 16 3/4" x 12" (max) x 7 1/2" tall to top of handle (with original small monogram engraved).
