Antique Engraving 'King Charles I in Guard Room'

Artist - Engraved by George Sanders, after the original by Paul de la Roche (1797-1856)
Title - King Charles the 1st in the Guard Room
Details - Engraving, published by James Budd in 1841. With text by Sanderson's Life of Charles I printed underneath. Glazed and framed a vintage wood and gesso frame with a wood-effect finish.
Condition - Overall in fair-good condition. The paper is discoloured and has some marking and foxing (brown spotting). Please note that we have not removed the print from the frame. The frame has some scuffing, knocking, wear and grubbiness, and it has some significant areas of loss.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size - 39cm by 28.5cm
Frame - 57cm by 47cm, 2cm deep. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
