Very practicable antique walnut duet piano stool with loads of storage inside beneath the upholstered seat. It's figured walnut all the way around beneath the seat, including on the back & sits on a carved solid walnut frame & legs which have well defined paw feet. Please enlarge all the images to see the beautiful figuring & grain of the wood. The seat has been re-upholstered in a cream fabric, with double piping. There are catches inside that hold the seat up when open & the inside is also nicely polished. I would date this stool to around the 1910-20's period & it's in excellent condition.
