Antique French extending dining table 10 seater
French antique mahogany exyending dining table, Henri II style and in good condition, the table will seat 4 in comfort when closed down, but when extended with all three leaves, it will seat a comfortable 10 to 12
The table is made with this very solid central "H" frame support and when extended, the two pairs of legs you see at the ends, drop down to support the weight, giving a really very solid table when in use.
Well turned columns with fluted carvings and spindles, the mahogany top itself is in good condition too, some small areas that may need a bit of polishing, but nothing major at all.
I have not had the table re polished as I personally don't feel it necessary, I prefer to see some age and character to a table top, hence this is a lower price bracket...it can be re polished, but will add approx £500 to the price
Measuring 45" wide x 40" long when closed
There are three removable 18" leaves giving a total length of 94"
