Beautiful and rare gilded cane french bed, probably made around 1890. A lot of carving and opulent swags. It’s in need of some attention, as can be seen. Some swags are missing and others loose. The cane around the footboard corners is a bit battered though not beyond repair. The whole thing needs a really good clean! There are no slats, as usual..

The price here is reflective of all those issues this is quite a special piece.

As a guideline, a chest of drawers to London is usually £50 and comes within 1-2 weeks. You might wait up to 3-4 weeks to far flung corners of the country. If that's too long, we can arrange another courier but that might be more expensive.

Help with larger items will be required your end, unless you pay for an extra body (not cheap..) and whilst he doesn't just dump it at the kerbside, he'll grumble if he has to do four trips up three flights of stairs, in which case, ask nicely, give him a bit extra and offer him a cup of tea..
