This antique French table lamp is very large at 22 inches high & it has just been re-wired. It looks like gilt bronze & the casting quality is very well defined. We are not one hundred percent sure it’s gilded on bronze, so it maybe some other base metal under the gilding. Either way, it’s very old & good quality, dating to around the 1910-20’s period or older. The subject matter is a winged cherub standing on a rococo style base holding a lamp. The gilding is nicely aged & shows character.
