Good quality French antique desk, with an original tooled leather writing surface. It's Kingwood, mahogany & some other woods I can't make out. There are lots of gilt mounts all over, plus it has gilt feet. These gilt mounts are very fine quality & are naturally aged, like the leather top. There are drawers to the front, both sides & a dummy drawer on the back. Please take a look at all the images, to appreciate all the fine details. I would date this desk to around the 1890-1910 period & it's in good original condition.
