Very good quality and quite an unusual antique French gilt "margin" over mantle mirror in excellent original condition, circa 1880
This mirror is sitting on the mantle here in the showroom, but it would be better to have a few inches space / hang centred on the chimney breast
All the original mirror glass is bevelled too which along with the beautifully moulded frame and gilding, make this is a very decorative over mantle mirror
Known as a margin or cushion frame mirror due to the additional panes of mirror glass framing the main central section.
Measures 50`` x 43`` and is very easy to hang
