Antique French style marble top cabinet with stunning floral marquetry panels made up of many exotic woods & inset into burr walnut surroundings. The middle oval panels are convexed & surrounded by gilt bronze mounts. The gilt bronze mounts are all over this cabinet & are of exceptional quality. Please enlarge all the images to see the beauty of the wood & the castings of the mounts. Check out the details on the corner mounts & the ones on the base. This cabinet is of very high quality & the grain of the woods & colours are very vivid. It has a loose marble top & there is a drawer just below. The main cupboard has shelves with brass galleries & there is plenty of storage inside. It’s all in excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period.
