This is an unusual French solid cherry "provincial" server sideboard, louis style circa 1830`s and in great condition.
Some alteration along the way...originally, there were drawers at the ends only, but this has been changed so there are three running drawers along the side as you can see - the two end drawers are now just blanks.
Good decorative piece, very useable and a substantial size, whether it`s for a hall, dining room, etc, it will stand well with most other woods and being cherry, it has a lovely warm glow to it.
