Antique French Walnut Fautille Armchair c1890
Antique French 19th Century Walnut Fautille and dating from around 1880. The chair constructed from solid walnut has a beautifully carved oval show frame with pierced cartouche and deep padded needlepoint backrest. It has carved shepherds crook armrests and a deep padded needlepoint stuff over seat above a carved serpentine shaped frame and stands on elegant carved cabriole legs on castors.
In very nice condition.
Measures 42" high x seat height 17" x 28" deep x 26" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
