Antique Georgian Oak Mule Chest c1780
Antique Georgian Joined Oak Mule Chest or Coffer and dating form around 1780. It has a large plank top with original iron strap hinges above four fielded panels to the front and with a small drawer to the centre flanked on either side by a long drawer all of which are pine lined with later brass handles and escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on shaped bracket feet. It has panelled sides and is peg joined.
