A wonderful antique Georgian period mahogany vanity mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is of very fine quality and is a lovely size, designed to be placed on a table or chest top. The mirror has a bevelled edge, and can be detached and tilted to adjust the angle. The mahogany frame has inlaid satin wood around the edge, there are also scrolled gilded embellishments. It stands on a splayed mahogany base.

This is in lovely original condition, with just some minor surface wear, and a little spotting in places to the silvered backing of the mirror.
