The most delightful ornate antique photo locket. This beautiful piece is fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. Sourcing antique lockets can be so time consuming, as there are so many rolled gold and gold plated versions for sale. We take the time to source only fully hallmarked gold lockets to save you time. This wonderful antique is adorned with forget-me-nots on the outer edges of both sides. The front features a heart cartouche engraved in the most elegant script. The letters are so ornate they form a delightful design. The initials look like E R. Ivy leaves and scrollwork complete the composition perfectly. The locket is steeped in symbolism. The forget-me-not symbolises ever lasting love. Ivy symbolises fidelity, friendship and eternity. The original photographs, frames and photo protectors are in place. We have included a gorgeous vermeil Singapore chain necklace. This style of chain catches the light and completes this mesmerizingly beautiful ensemble. The catches and hinges work perfectly.
