This is a stunning antique Heriz carpet from Persian Azerbaijan dating from the early 20th century. The carpet has a rose field with a central medallion framed by spandrels and samovar motif borders. The carpet is in excellent order overall with no historic damage or repairs. The heriz is a good size measuring 350cm by 250cm.
