Antique Edwardian leather top mahogany desk of exceptional quality & of a good size. It dates from the 1900-1910 period & is in very good condition, having just been polished. The tooled leather writing surface is a little distressed & has lots of character. It has a bow fronted middle drawer & three drawers either side which are graduated in depth. They have beautifully cast original brass handles & fine dovetails. This desk has some fine inlays of satinwood & ebony on the top & down the front. The turned legs are carved on the tops & have original brass casters.
