Superb Antique Italian Burr Walnut King Size Bed and dating from aorund 1900. The headboard has a deep moulded and serpentine shaped top rail with carved central cartouche above a vine and leaf moulding and superbly fiqured Burr walnut. The footboard has a deep moulded serpentine top rail above a moulding of vine and leaf with interlocking heart to the centre. It has a deep moulded rail to the base and stands on lovely cabriole legs joined by a serpentine shaped frieze with cartouche to the centre. It has its original drop in side rails.

In very good condition with a lovely deep rich colour and patination to the quality walnut oozing all the charm and character of the period.
