as usual with these rugs from kashan made with fine quality velvety kurk wool. With particularly fine weaving details of mosques in cartouches within the border and top end and twin pillars of wisdom inside the red field. There are bits of edge loss,all imaged. Very favourably priced. 6 foot 9 inches by 4 foot 3 inches. 207cm X 130cm. At widest points. Fine kurk velvety wool pile hand knotted onto fine cotton foundations with wefts as usual dyed light blue.
