This is an antique landscape painting. A British school, original oil on canvas signed G. Dawson, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Signed G Dawson, this fine landscape in oil is undoubtedly of the British School, with examples of the artist's work focusing on the foothills of the Scottish highlands. A recurring element is the foreground of rivers and streams with the foliage turning to autumnal colour.
