Antique Large Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest c188
Impressive Antique Large Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest and dating from aorund 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a serpentine shaped top above a cross banded frieze secret drawer and carved corbal supports to either side. There are two short drawers over three long graduating drawers and has the unusual feature of a long slim drawer to the deep plinth base and stands on turned legs. All of the drawers are pine lined with turned mahogany handles inset with mother of pearl.
