A wonderful antique leather and carved oak bobbin sofa. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of exceptional quality, it is full of character and charm. The solid oak frame is beautifully made with carved bobbin features throughout, even on the entirety of the stretched base. The leather upholstery has a gorgeous colour tone, the cushion is feather filled, the frame has riveted front, side and back edges.

We have had the wood polished, the leather has been revived and enhanced by our leather restorer. The condition is excellent for its age, with a gorgeous overall patina.
