Single Drawer Lowboy Table - George lll - c1800
This mahogany Georgian lowboy desk table is a pleasing example presented in excellent antique condition.
The desk rides upon cantered edge legs creating an unfussy classic style.
The single drawer design provides for an attractive piece suitable for a variety of locations. Twin swan neck handles flank a pierced centre escutcheon. The drawer benefits from oak linings and cock-beading with quality veneer.
The upper surface is superbly presented with deep colour.
The piece is well constructed and solid. The mahogany displays very well and the whole piece is in very good order and solid throughout.
Overall a very functional antique with good proportion. It will serve as a desk, side table, display, hallway or lamp table.
