Antique Mahogany French Empire Armchair
A stunning antique mahogany French empire armchair, dating from around the 1820-1840 period.
It is of extremely fine quality and has lovely proportions. The solid mahogany frame is beautifully crafted with lovely curves, there is beautiful carving on the arm rests and the back scrolls over gently.
We have had the frame re-polished to a very high standard, it has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. This comes with the original bolster cushion it came with which we have re-upholstered as well, we have displayed it with and without so you can see both options.
Width – 25 inches , 64 cm
Depth – 24 inches , 61 cm
Height – 37 inches , 93 cm
Seat height – 18 inches , 46 cm Please be aware this item may be in our shop or our warehouse - please contact us prior to visiting.
