Beautiful antique armchair in mahogany with lots of fine inlays, in good original condition, dating from around the 1890-1900 period. It has a great shape, with a scooped out back, shaped struts, a serpentine front edge & curved legs. Please enlarge all the images, to appreciate the fine inlays. Unfortunately, the photographs don't do them justice. They are very intricate & there are also satinwood inlays on all the struts & down the legs. The seat & back have just been re-upholstered in a cream linen fabric, with double piping.
