Antique Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk
A large and very impressive mahogany pedestal desk, in the antique Chippendale style, dating from around the 1930’s period.
It is of excellent quality, with a solid mahogany construction and inset leather top. Each pedestal sits on four claw and ball feet, and the top has a gadrooned edge. There are beautifully made brass handles, and this is nicely finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing piece.
The leather top has been hand coloured and gold tooled, we have had the whole desk re-polished it is in excellent condition for its age. The right hand pedestal has a double size filing drawer & this desk breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

Knee height – 23 inches , 59 cm
