Antique Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk

A very large and impressive antique mahogany pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
It is of superb quality and is a fantastic size at 6 ft wide. This has a very large working surface which is inset with three gold tooled leather panels. There are also two leather top pull out sliding shelves beneath the top, and there is lots of storage space inside the many drawers. The bottom two right hand drawers are dummies, as there is one deep filing drawer inside. There are fine quality brass handles and beautifully panelled sides. The back is also nicely finished with dummy drawers & panels so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The top lifts right off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

Knee height – 24 inches , 62 cm
