This antique Swedish Kingwood bombe commode has a wonderful curvaceous shape & a lovely warm colour. The marble which lifts off is perfect & also a lovely colour. It has the original gilt bronze handles, escutcheons & mounts. There are parquetry panels on the drawers & the sides, with inlay & cross banding outside of that. The front corner edges are also chamfered. It's all in good condition & I would date it to around the 1910 period.
