This is an antique marquetry centre table. An English, walnut and burr walnut inlaid side or hall table, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Boasts a deft elegance to enhance any room
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Walnut presents fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Bookmatched burr walnut marquetry top a treat of exquisite figuring
Shaped top sits within an ebonised edge moulding, providing fine contrast
The superb top further enhanced with boxwood inlays of foliate motif
Carved knees with gadrooned craftsmanship frame a shaped apron with further inlay
Raised upon a fluted tapering leg and riding upon a quartet of brass and ceramic castors
