This is a good miniature portrait of Napoleon, painted in gouache and signed by the artist, dating from around 1860. The portrait has fine detail with attractive colours and is oval mounted into a pressed gilt metal frame.

The frame measures 9 cms by 7 cms with the oval portrait being 6.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
