Fine Quality Oak Corner Cabinet - Bow Front - c1780
This stylish bow front Georgian English oak corner cabinet is a very pleasing example, wonderfully proportioned, and ideal for display and storage purposes.
Of quality craftsmanship it presents English oak bearing visible medullary rays, classic reeded pilaster detailing, and attractive simple mouldings to the foot and at the crown.
The twin bow doors hang on external butterfly show hinges and open to reveal a trio of curve fronted shelves and original painted interior.
With matched period solid brass lock escutcheon pairings, lock & key - lock does not throw however the cabinet closes correctly.
Fittings are provided to allow easy wall mounting.
