A charming antique oak church choir stall pew with scroll carved sides and lift up seat. Featuring carved and panelled ends, this beautiful piece of craftsmanship would have originally graced a large church. To the underside of the seat which lifts up is a misericord, which, when the seat is folded up, is intended to act as a shelf to support a person in a partially standing position during long periods of prayer. Ideal piece for any period interior, a real focal point for any room, hallway or kitchen.

Good colour and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age - some old worm holes to one side.
