This Antique oak Devon dairy dresser was made circa 1800.
It is fitted 4 drawers along the top each with the original brass swan neck loop handles and 3 finely turned legs to the front a straight support to the rear. The base with the multiple wavy slats along the pot board
The dresser has the rare feature of the wavy splats along the base back and sides. These were not only for their attractive look but also for practicality. These were to allow air to circulate around cheese and other dairy products.
