Antique Omega pocket watch & chain, railways

Antique Omega pocket watch & chain, railways.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it has the serial number 5,162,854 which dates it back to 1917.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed Omega and it has images of medals won.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition. The back of the watch has the image of a locomotive which has rubbed over the years but still visible.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial has a few hairline cracks on the right hand side of the dial. Lovely ornate hands and a red number 12 which is a nice feature.
The watch comes with a single chain which has a fob (probably silver but un-hallmarked) from the The Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. ASRS was a trade union of railway workers in the United Kingdom from 1872 until 1913.
On 26 November 1871 a group of railwaymen met in Holbeck in Leeds, they made the decision to form the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants.
Details of meetings were printed on tiny slips of paper, four inches by two inches, in order not to attract the attention of the employers, this was the message passed between railwaymen that led to the forming of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants.
Their aim was to secure a ten hour working day, payment for Sunday duty and weekly payment of wages.
The fob is quite rubbed.
Also included is another silver fob (but no hanging loop) from Transcona Amateur Athletic Association, it has an image of a locomotive… the back of the fob is blank bar the silver marks. Transcona is a suburb of Winnipeg.
The watch and chain comes in a new presentation box.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
