This is an antique overmantel mirror, an English, Georgian, dome topped wall mirror in giltwood and gesso dating to circa 1800.

Of classic Georgian, dome topped design
Mid-sized and of good proportion
The frame moulding a modest trace of beads and lozenges
Standing upon semi-circular pads flanking a plain base rail
Featuring the original mercury glass plate displaying desirable aged foxing (See close up pic)
