Antique Pair of Brass Stands. Torchere, Plant, Lamp Tripod English Regency c1830

This is a fine and desirable pair of antique torchere stands in solid brass weighing an impressive 28lb (13Kg) each making them very stable.

Sitting upon a tripod of lion paw feet, a classically detailed cast base supports a square section reeded column which rises from a bulbous mount that perfectly balances the triple turned neck supporting the ‘pie crust’ plinth that has a solid perimeter gallery with generous lip.

The pair are superb quality presented in excellent antique condition with solid joints and construction.
