Antique Pair of Glass Decanters in English Oak Box, Victorian c.1895
This is a pair of glass decanters in an English Oak Box dating from c.1895.
The quarter sawn oak box is beautifully figured featuring medullary rays in a rich honey hue. The lid has an un-engraved brass plaque (perfect for personalising as a gift.)
The lid has solid brass hinging and features a "Bramah of London" lock without key.
Inside the chip free decanters are cosseted in a velvet lining and offer generous storage beneath multi faceted stoppers.
Offered in good antique condition would make a wonderful gift.
