Pair of Antique Walnut Ladies & Gents Wardrobes and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality walnut they have a flared cross banded cornice top with a small carved cartouche to the centre. Below are two doors both having a wide cross banded edge to the front with brass handles.
Internally the larger Ladies wardrobe has a full length brass hanging rail to one side and to the other side a shelf with a hanging rail below. The smaller Gents wardrobe has a shelf to the top with glass sliding doors to one side is a hanging rail with a shoe rail to the base and to the other side are four shelves. The wardrobes have canted sides with a small carving to the top of each. They stand on a plinth base with short cabriole legs on a pad foot.

Gents Wardrobe Measures 74" high x 22" deep x internal depth 19" x 38" wide

A superb Pair of Walnut Wardrobes and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
