A 1950s Clover mother of pearl musical powder box in excellent condition & working order.
The lid is adorned with high quality mother of pearl making this musical box ideal as pearl / 30th anniversary gift & the tune makes this an appropriate christening gift too - it plays Rockabye Baby. This adorable vanity is signed "CLOVER" on the powder well door. Turn the key three times antique clock wise & the delightful tune plays well. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The bevelled mirror is excellent & gives a very good reflection. The original puff & sifter are present & they are pristine. The puff is signed 'CLOVER' & bears the Clover registered trademark. The base & the interior (apart from the powder well door) are decorated with satinized gold finish. The powder well is smooth gold tone.

This wonderful musical powder box measures 31/2" X just over 21/4" & weighs 152.1 grams.
