Antique Pine Farmhouse Kitchen Table (7ft long)
This lovely country kitchen table dates from around the second half of the nineteenth century. It is constructed from solid pine, and may be of continental origin. The table has a scrubbed pine planked top and is supported on four tapering legs.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, which is heavy in places, and the piece is overall a little faded. The wood has some natural flaws and some shrinkage cracking. There are two holes to one side of the top of the table, and some faded ring marks and scratching. There are some signs of old woodworm damage - this is not active, but this has been retreated as a precaution.
