This is a lovely Regency rosewood inlaid trinket box. It has an arched hinged lid painted with a marine scene with the cliffs of Dover in the background. The box encloses an open interior. The ringed handles are shaped as double headed eagles. The box sits upon four short repousse gilt metal paw feet.
