Antique Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawer
Antique Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cross banded edge to the bowed top above a cross banded deep frieze and three short drawers over three long drawers all of which are oak lined with original brass handles depicting Neptune and Dolphines ( maY have belonged to a rich Sea Merchant ? ). The top and drawer fronts have fine satinwood stringing and it stands on bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.
A very nice quality Regency Chest of Drawers
Measures 40" high x 22" deep x 47" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
