This is an Antique Regency Rosewood Writing desk c1811-20. It is raised on slab ends with bar feet on small hidden castors with a lower turned stretcher and higher rectangular stretcher just underneath the drawers. It has two drawers that open on one side and two drawers that are dummy drawers with ebonised turned handles. The grain and paitna are lovely with a green leather inset top with gold tooling. A great desk all ways round.
