This is an antique set of six dining chairs. An English, mahogany dining suite by Spillman and Co, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

A charming suite with Regency period appeal
Each chair displays a desirable aged patina

The suite benefits from a recent professional upholstering
High-quality textile in rich Oxford green and scarlet hues
Soft, traditionally stuffed seat pads can be removed
Two chairs featuring the ivorine Spillman and Co. emblem, five featuring the serial number D5975

Gently arcing, generous top rail showcases the quality mahogany
Carved acanthus decorates the apex of each stile, with bead work to the vertical
Convenient seat height of 48.5cm (19")
Tapering baluster legs with foliate bulb at the front, with gently swept rear legs
