This is a fabulous English silver & enamel locket on a long silver chain, decorated with an iris.

Very Art Nouveau in design, but the hallmark is actually for London and year ‘1938’.

The chain has an extended length of 71 cm and the locket has a diameter of 3.2 cm.

It goes easily over the head, but it has a ‘c’ catch nonetheless.
